Everything in the known universe has a natural tendency to move from a state of order to a state of chaos, falling into disarray. This is the essence of entropy. To represent the entropy effect within the context of this image I use a granite block, which one might think to be eternal, and show it gradually breaking down into dust as it travels the Spiral of Time.
