of Vermont was just published in Science, the academic journal of the American
Association for the Advancement of Science, one of the world's top scientific journals.

In late 2011 I was commisioned by research chemists at the University of Edinburgh
to produce this rendering
of their latest chemical marvel: a molecule that ties itself into the shape of a pentafoil knot.
In January the United Kingdom's national synchrotron science facility named my image as
2011's Scientific Image of the Year
