Image Description:
This work is the first exploration into the theme of an arrangement of rough blocks with varying colors and materials. The idea grew into a series of four variations on the theme, with this variation exploring the varying colors using an ice-like, glassy material. In this variation I am playing on the contrast between the warmth of the colors and the apparent coolness of the transparent, refractive material — a sort of "fire and ice” feel.
